Commandaria. Vinified from Cyprus grape varieties Mavro and Xynisteri coming from the denominated area of Commandaria making it an “Appellation of origin” wine. After the overripe grapes are harvested, they are left to dry in the sun resulting in syrup like juice. The wine then ages in old oak barrels. Blend of different vintages based on the Solera system.
