Filfar is an orange liqueur from Cyprus. It was commercialised from the 1940s from a family recipe allegedly passed down from mother to daughter since it was got from the monks at Kantara in the 13th century. It shows flavours of ripe orange on the nose and the palate with some fresh spice notes turning to more bitter orange notes on a long finish. |
